Come Fly Away, a musical centred on Frank Sinatra's life, featured an elaborate Art Deco stair that moved along a curved track system requiring independent swivel mechanisms for both drive and guide components. Back-lit risers on separate electrical circuits plus a curved handrail with varying radii.
